Ecomoving: Sustainable Movement

Ecomoving’s team intend to change the way in which pupils access the school – replacing traditional means of transport with more sustainable ones. With this there will be an improvement in traffic at school entrance and exit times, which will result in a reduction in atmospheric pollution.

Dear Young Writers of Indonesia…

This project idea came from when we realized how undervalued literature and arts are in our community. We’ve met people who wanted to write books or draw comics, but most eventually give up on it. Those who aspired to be authors or illustrators would often quit early because they have none of the resources nor experience to properly pursue it.

An eco-friendly plastic

The idea of my project arises from the need to reduce pollution because this is one of the main contributors to climate change. My project basically consists of 3 phases. The first is to create eco-bricks with inorganic garbage to build houses or small sofas for people with limited resources.

A Roof Over Every Head

I’m so lucky to have grown up with so many resources around me. I have never had to worry about my safety or daily necessities a privilege that I didn’t fully understand until last a few years ago, a fault that I am ashamed to admit. I grew up heavily sheltered and when I learned about the extreme homeless crisis in America, where I live, I knew I had to do everything in my power to make a difference.

Life-changing experience

Recently I have done my first program called GSL world catalyst @home, due to the fact of the current pandemic situation the session was all done online via zoom at our own place. It was so interesting and inspiring at the same time to join and connect with global citizens around the world. With the same ambitious goal, we soon start our journey on the same boat.

Wenergy

As we all are aware of the fact that sewers constitute a large amount of waste materials, germs, and toxic chemicals which can cause health problems such as hepatitis, cholera, and typhoid in the place where sewage is dumped. It can also contaminate water sources that are used for drinking, bathing etc.

Re-Charge – Give light and people will find the way

Our project was made to tackle two dire problems that we have observed in our respective communities: lack of electricity and climate change. The fact that 200 million Indians live, quite literally in the darkness (according to World Bank data) is one of the biggest crises in the world.

The Fourth Sunrise: Because Mental Health Matters

Everyone has a story, but not everyone likes to tell it. Sometimes, we feel alone, as though even if we tell the people around us our stories, they won’t really understand them, and we’ll end up alone, vulnerable, and hurt. Such is the case for many teenagers here in our home country India.

Digital Skills: The Key Towards Global Success

Starting with the description of our project, it is all about skill-development. There are two sides of the project: development and learning. Development here refers to giving form to the project so it can actually exist and possess the potential to yield benefits. To better understand development, we need to dive into some examples taken from the project itself.
