Change Doesn’t Have an Age

According to nephrologist paediatricians, around 3 in 20 children below the age of 6 suffer from Chronic Kidney Disease. We feel like this percentage is high, yet CKD isn't spoken about enough. Also, our hearts go out to the children that have to go through this at such a young age and sit for hours on end getting their kidneys cleansed and have to endure the pain that comes along with this disease.

Our goal in this project is to create awareness about recycling all types of recyclable wastes and medical wastes, increasing the recycling skills of our country, Turkey. At the same time, we are working on finding the best possible way of recycling habits to integrate into our lives. Humanitieshearts is a global youth non-profit. The project we embarked on for the GSL is one we call the HH Syllabus. A text-based project aimed at helping orphanages in rural Africa during the pandemic. The project allows for volunteers to sign up to create worksheets and content tailored to fit rural orphanages' needs.
